Ayiram Butta is one of India’s most celebrated weaves hailing from the town of Kanchipuram in Tamil Nadu. It is woven with soft Kanchi Cotton. The sari has a thousand buttas with Annapakshi and Rudraksha patterns interchanging, giving an ornamented effect. It can take up to five days to make a single saree.
