Ayiram Butta is one of India’s most celebrated weaves hailing from the town of Kanchipuram in Tamil Nadu. It is woven with soft Kanchi Cotton. Often saved for special ceremonies, festivals, and weddings in the South of India. In Tamil, the words Ayiram means thousand and Butta, small dot. The sari has a thousand buttas with Annapakshi and Rudraksha patterns interchanging, giving an ornamented effect. It can take up to five days to make a single saree.
This beautiful Red Ayiram Butta saree features a delicately woven Rudraksha & Paisley pattern throughout along with Beige borders and that incorporate intricate Rudraksha motif. It is a strikingly luxurious sari to be worn proudly.
