Bestseller A/S is a privately owned, family-owned clothing and accessories company founded by Troels Holch Povlsen in Brande in Denmark in 1975. The company offers affordable fashion for men, women and children. The company sells its products in 70 markets in most of Europe, the Middle East, Canada, India and worldwide through e-commerce. The company has almost 9,000 stores worldwide, 6,000 in China and the rest mostly in Europe.

Children’s clothing was introduced in 1986 and menswear in 1988. Bestseller is a family-owned company with about 17,000 employees.

Bestseller has stores in most European countries, the Middle East, India, China, Uruguay and Canada (over 45 countries in total). Bestseller is one of the largest European fashion companies in China with over 1,200 stores and is said to be “one of the only foreign companies to successfully penetrate the Chinese mid-range consumer market.” The stores sell either single-brand clothing or all of the company’s brands. There are more than 800 Vero Moda stores worldwide. The Jack & Jones brand is sold in approximately 2,000 retail stores, of which 270 are Jack & Jones franchises.
