Orange and Black Murshidabad block print Saree

These sarees came into existence after in 18th century Nawab of Murshidabad shifted his capital from Dhaka to Murshidabad. Along with him he bought weavers who worked on baluchari sarees. When river bhagirati flooded all the dwellers shifted to Bishnupur.

This Orange and Black saree made of silk. Block printing is done on natural color. Border is printed with green color. Body has polka design.
This saree can be worn on casual / fastive occassion.
