Bilva or Bael variety of wild apple tree, which grows throughout South and Southeast Asia. Ayurveda Bael ancient times used to treat diseases and disorders associated with the digestive tract, such as diarrhea, dysentery, gastro-intestinal disorders. Bilva has carminative properties, relieves excess gas formation, improves digestion and strengthens the digestive fire, normalizing bowel function. The plant helps to treat ulcers on the surface of the intestine, has antiviral, anthelmintic and anti-inflammatory effect, improves the body’s response to pathogenic enteric organisms. Bael has antispasmodic effect and helps relieve abdominal cramps.

Basic properties 

Astringent. Immature fruits bael, due to the high concentration of tannin, are particularly effective in the treatment of diarrhea and dysentery. Exerts anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effect on the digestive system.
Natural laxative. Ripe fruits are bael natural laxative, helps with constipation and relieves the intestines of worms.
The antimicrobial agent. Bael has antiviral and antimicrobial action, protecting against pathogens that cause intestinal infections.
Antispasmodic and carminative properties. It relieves abdominal cramps, bloating, and eliminates the pain resulting from accumulation of gases in the gastrointestinal tract.
Anti-inflammatory effect. Marmin coumarin extracted from the roots of plants, has anti-tumor and anti-inflammatory activity, has antispasmodic and vasodilating effects, detrimental effect on fungi and protozoa, helps to control inflammatory bowel disorder.

Instructions for use:

• One capsule twice a day or as recommended by the treating physician. Each capsule contains 250mg of extract bael.
• The minimum 4 weeks.
• Bilva Himalaya – 100% herbal medicine and has no side effects. However, it is not recommended to take the drug without first consulting with your doctor during pregnancy and lactation. Bael Himalaya is available in capsule form, which can create some difficulties for ingestion by children under 14 years.
